Study on Intra-stroma Laser Temperature Therapy of Cerebral Tumor with Semiconductor Laser

Objective:The intra-stroma laser temperature therapy (ILTT) that naked optic flber inserted into the rabblt brain tissue was taken no confirm the biological effect of semiconductor laser and to discuss the correlation between the destroyed range and the laser output power and its acting time.The curative effects were observed after clinical uses.Methods:The rabblt brain tissue were acted with varied output power and acting time with naked optic fiber and semiconductor laser and then destroyed range were detected.The results were compared and analyzed with ultra-red thermogram showed in 45C range.The intrastroma temperature therapy was used to destroy the tumor tissue during cranial operation in clinics.Results:The ILTT effected focus was band-like wherever in rabbit brain or in human cerebral tumor tissue and the range within 45 C line were bigger than destroyed area actually.The biggest range of optic fiber acted in ILTT was 11.2mm.conclusions:The ILTT could be an effective method to treat the cerebral tumor.The acted range in ILTT of the single optic fiber was positive index with laser output power and acting time.The acting data of ILTT to certain area of focus should be selected with mathematical method.
