Objective To study the expression and its significance of C-myc protein in ovary epithelial carcinoma. Methods 30 cases of ovary epithelial carcinoma patients and 8 cases of normal ovary were detected with immunohistochemical method and the result was analyzed. Results The positive rate of expression of ovary epithelial carcinoma was 56.67% and 0 in normal group. There was significant difference between benign and malignant group (P0.05). C-myc amplification was negative related with cell differentiation and close related with lymph metastasis without relation with pathology. Conclusion Expression of C-myc protein might have definite relation with biological behaviour of ovary epithelial carcinoma.
