Research Development of the Directed Differentiation of Embryonic Stem Cells into Osteoblasts

CAO Shu,FAN Sheng,ZHANG Lin-bo(Department of Radiation,The 208 Hospital,PLA,Changchun 130000,CHINA)
Objective To summarize the present situation and the questions about how embryonic stem cells become osteoblasts through vitro induction directed differentiation. Methods Reviewing, summarizing and analyzing literature on how embryonic stem cells become osteoblasts through vitro induction in recent years. Results ESCs can be used as the ideal resource of bone tissue engineering seeds. Conclusion The osteoblasts gotten from vitro induction directed differentiation have great potential in bone tissue engineering, they not only provide the molecular mechanisms model for analyzing how to get osteoblasts but also lay the foundation for them in bone tissue repair.
