Mmlticomponent Analysis of Black Systems with Hyphenated Two-Way Data and Heuristic Evolving Latent Projections

Liang Yizeng (Department of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Hunan Univ, Changsha, 410082)
The history of the methodology on the black analytical systems are first briefly reviewed. The features hidden in hyphenated two-way data are then brought specially into focus in orderto investigate adaptability of the available chemometric methods for black analytical systems. The majorManuscript received on June 30, 1994 The work was supported by the Fok ying tong Education Foundation and Youth Teachcr Foundation of the National Education Committee of P R Chinaideas that come from heuristic evolving latent projections (HELP) method will be discussed in detail.some special cases, which can not be resolved by the available methods yet, are presented in the paperin order to attract the attention of the chemometricians.
