Studies on the Treatment of Emulsified-Oil-Containing Wastewater with a New Type of Coagulating-Oxidation Agent

A new type of coagulating-oxidation agent (ROJ) has been prepared by using AICl3·6H2O,Ca(OH)2, calcium hypochlorite and stablizer M as raw materials.The method of preparation and action theory of ROJ is described. The experimental results of using ROJ for treatment of emulsified-oil-containing wastewater have shown that the COD removal rate can reach 80 % to 85 %, the oil and turbidity removal rates can reach 90 % to 95 %. Compared with the coagulants of Al2(SO4)3, PAC,PFS and FeSO4,ROJ has better result and lower cost.
