The research zone is located in the eastern costal belt of Wenchang,Hainan Province, where Quaternary System is quite typical in South China. The distribution of the Quaternary System was affected by Neo-tectonics formed in the late stage of Cenozoic era.By applying LA-ICPMS method to detect the age of sediment, granularity and zircon and choosing206Pb/238 U ages to draw an age-concordant spectrogram, and it reveals that the sources of unconsolidated sediments are not completely equivalent in different places. The source region of sediments in Basuo Formation and Yandun Formation is similar, which is quite different from Beihai Formation. The differentiation of source regions will lead to different mineralization of Quaternary System.
