Optimization of Extraction and Purification Process on Total Flavone of Hawthorn Leaves by Using Box-Behnken Design and Analysis of Its Bacteriostasis

We optimize the extraction and purification process of Total Flavone of Hawthorn Leaves which isused by Box-Behnken. The experiment shows that the optimum extraction conditions of TFHL are 65% ethanol assolvent at(67±1)℃ for 80 min and the extraction rate of TFHL is 92.2%. The optimum purification process ofTFHL are purified with 4.4 BV of 60% ethanol as the eluent,and the flow rate is 3.8 BV/h. Under these conditions,thepurification of TFHL is 86.8%. The bacteriostasis function test shows that the hawthorn leave extract has the obviousinhibiting effect on S. aureus and MRSA.
