CONTROL SYSTEM OF SMA ACTUATOR OF ROBOT

A new kind of functional material, Shape Memory Alloy(SMA), is being applied widely in robotic field. The authors have made a kind of single chip microcomputer system main control circuit, external circuit, heating power, which is used as controller of an actuator of robot. A single chip microcumputer systems software has been designed. The system is cheap. The control is easy and simple, and the actuator control accuracy is 0.3 degree(1 pulse).
