CONTACT PROBLEM BETWEEN WHEEL AND BEAM ON ELASTIC FOUNDATION

In this paper, the smooth contact problem between a disk and beam on Winklers foundation is studied and only compressive part is taken into account. According to the geometric conditions of cotact between disk and beam, beam and foundation; the equilibrium differential equation and boundary conditions; the equilibrium condition; this paper establishes an integral equation for this contact problem. This is a singular integral equation with Cauchy kernal, we can find the analytic solution by using Chebyshev polynomial expension.
