AUTOMATIC FINITE ELEMENT DELAUNAY MESH GENERATION FOR THREE DIMENSION SOLIDS

A modified node connection method is put forward to overcome the difficulty in automatic mesh generation for three dimensional solids. This method integrates the node generation and element formation which are separated in the traditional approach. Therefore, node generation and element formation depend on each other and mesh generation is implemented automatically and simultaneously.
