EFFECT OF PROPELLER EDGE-CUTTING ON THE MATCH OF SHIP,ENGINE AND PROPELLER

This paper outlines the effect of propeller edge cutting upon the improvement on the match of ship, engine and the propeller itself, offering an estimation of the engine speed increase caused by the edge cutting and giving the results of model and full scale ship tests.
