Inducement and social effects of the relation deintercalation among generations

WANG Haijuan;Research Center for China Rural Government, Huazhong University of Science and Technology;
The field investigations in Shandong, Shanxi, Hubei province and other places show that the generation relationship deintercalation has become a new trend of rural family generational relationship.The generation relationship deintercalation has the characteristics of the independence in the economic, emotional, and spiritual, and obvious uncorrelation and weak relationship between generations.The economic and social incentives are the individualization of peasant family property and the change of farmer values, and the most direct social effect is that the family endowment turn to independent endowment. Although the economic support level of their independent endowment has improved, peasants still universally suffer from insufficiency of risk resistance ability, the difficulty of care for the disabled elderly and the lack of the spiritual welfare, so it is agent for our state to take more measures to deal with these problems.
