Research Progress of Wild Soybean Germplasms and Utilization

Wild soybean (Glycine soja) is the wild relative species of cultivated soybean, which is of high protein content, strong tolerance and high propagation coefficient. The diverse growing conditions of wild soybean in China contribute to numerous phenotypes of wild soybean, which also reflect the evolution process through long-term natural and artificial selection. The research progress of wild soybean germplasms was summarized in resource status and innovative utilization in order to provide information for research of wild soybean germplasms.
