Effect of Soil Conditioner on the Microbial Community in the Rhizosphere Soil of Tobacco

The effects of biochar as a soil conditioner on microbial communities were studied. The results showed that, at all the growth stages of tobacco, the quantity of microorganisms in the rhizosphere soil added with the soil conditioner was higher than control (CK). The results of metagenome detection indicated that the diversity of microbial communities in soil added with the soil conditioner was also higher than the CK, and the rate of tobacco bacterial wilt and the disease index decreased by27.6% and 34.6%, respectively, compared with the CK. In conclusion, the soil conditioner could reduce the soil-borne disease by improving micro-ecological environment and diversity of microbial communities in rhizosphere soil to maintain the soil balance.
