Methods Promoting the Germination of Wild Soybean Seeds

Wild soybean seeds were treated by low temperature freezing, dense sulfuric acid,hot water and other methods,respectively,to study the differences in germination potential,vigor index,SOD and POD activity,and soluble protein content.The results showed that the all indexes in dense sulfuric acid treatment were the highest,and the second came hot water treatment;Low temperature freezing gave no significant difference compared with the contrast.The effects of ultrasonic and 50℃ ultra-dry on the germination of wild soybean were not notable.

About 80% of the accessions had the Tia allele and only one was identified as having the Tic allele. About 47% of the accessions had the Spia allele and only one had neither Spla nor Splb. According to the geographical distribution of Tia allele frequencies, 8 regions were divided in China.
