The Spatio-temporal Variability of Soil Nutrients in Typical Tobacco Growing Areas of Henan Province Based on GIS

The spatio-temporal variability of soil nutrients,including organic matter,total N,total P and total K,in tobacco growing areas of Jiaxian county of Henan province was investigated from 1982 to 2002 by Geographical information system(GIS) and Geostatisties.The results showed that the average content of organic matter and total N decreased,more for organic matter.Total P and Total K were kept stable.Based on the special variability,the distribution of four soil nutrients trend to be uniformed,which may be due to the fertilizer application and artificial management in tobacco field.
