Comparison of the Prevention Effect of Different Plant Protection Devices by Maize Whole-Process Control Test

To evaluate the effect of different plant protection devices in maize diseases,insects and weeds prevention,this study designed the whole-process control test and compared their prevention effects on weeds at seedling stage,Pyrausta nubilalis,Helicoverpa armigera Hubner and Physoderma maydis at mid and late stage. The results showed that about the weeds prevention,there was no significant difference among all the protection devices since their weeds control effects were all more than 80%. The control effect on Physoderma maydis was the highest( 77. 69%) when the water and drought-spraying sprayer was used after 7 days,and the control effect was the highest( 81. 15%) when the multi-rotor unmanned plant protection machine was used 15 days later. Regarding to prevention of Pyrausta nubilalis and Helicoverpa armigera Hubner,the new protection devices were better compared with the control effect of the knapsack sprayer. Furthermore,the production growth rates were more than 7% among all the devices except the knapsack sprayer. In conclusion,compared with the traditional knapsack sprayer device,the new plant protection devices had excellent efficiency and effect in the whole process control test of maize weeds,diseases and pests,and thus should be promoted and used in the future.
