The 20th Anniversary of Return: Research on the Education Reform and Development Path of Hongkong

Hongkong education reform has never been interrupted since the return about 20 years ago. Taking"life long learning,all-round development"as its concept and"learning to learn"as its main line,the reform conducted comprehensive and fundamental measures in curriculum,assessment and school system,which has changed the tradition of educational elitism and examination in Hongkong,so as to adapt to the rapid change of social development. In this paper,focusing on the three core projects of Hongkong educational reform,we discuss the reform background,reform measures,reform effectiveness and the worthy experience. As an influential educational reform example in the world,Hongkong educational reform has very important research value.
