PRECISE CONTROL OF INJECT CURRENT AND OPERATING TEMPERATURE OF NEAR INFRARED SEMICONDUCTOR LASER

In order to stabilize the output frequency of semiconductor laser, a method for precisely controlling and stabilizing its inject current and operating temperature is studied in this paper. The design principles of the control circuits and their practices are discussed.The measured stabilities of the current and operating temperatre of the laser are given. The stabilized laser has been used to observe the D2 absorption lines of natural rubidium.
