Determination of Residual Solvent in Meloxicam by Wide-bore Quartz Capillary Gas Chromatographic Column

An effecient method of determination for residual solvent in meloxicam is introduced in this paper.The residual solvent of xylene and 1,2-dichloroethane were separated by wide-bore quartz capillary gas chromatographic column,and were determined by flame ionization detector(FID) with external standard method,the regression coefficient is more than 0.99.The RSD is less than 2.8%.The limit of determination of xylene and 1,2-dichloro ethane is 3.0× -5 ?μg and 1.9×10 -5 ?μg,respectively.
