Optimal Censoring Scheme Based on Generalized Pareto Distribution with Progressive Type Ⅰ Censoring Data

This paper discusses the statistical inference of the generalized Pareto distribution under the progressively censoring scheme and obtains the Fisher information matrix. Based on the Fisher information matrix,the paper discusses the optimal censoring scheme under three different criteria,namely,how to determine the number of components participating in the life analysis experiment,the number of observation intervals,and the length of the experimental interval. Finally,it provides an algorithm to complete the life test experiment,and gives an example to demonstrate the method. The feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method is demonstrated.
