Research Progress of Doped Photoanode in Dye-sensitized Solar Cells

This article introduces the working principle of dye-sensitized solar cell(DSSCs) and summarizes the research progress of transition metal,nonmetal and rare earth element doping on TiO_2 photoanode. It also analyzes the effects of transition metal,nonmetal and rare earth element doped TiO_2 on the electron transport,interfacial electron recombination,dye adsorption capacity,energy band structure and photovoltaic performance of DSSCs.
