CHEN Qi-liang;TANG Dong-xin;LONG Feng-xi;Guiyang College of Traditional Chinese Medicine;
This article analyzes the features of Tujia medical theories from the aspects of origin,development,and perfection,and describes the developmental history of Tujia medical theories in detail. In the original stage of Tujia medicine,"Tima"is invited to perform religious rites and eliminate the evil,with the assistance of drugs or external medical therapies for certain diseases and indications,and Tujia medical theories in this stage emphasize gods with the assistance of medicine. The developmental stage has two important transitions: from the emphasis on gods with the assistance of medicine to the emphasis on both gods and medicine,as well as from the emphasis on both gods and medicine to the emphasis on medicine with the assistance of gods,and this stage is an important stage for the transition in the god- medicine relationship. The perfection stage is the stage of scientific research,and a set of scientific and complete Tujia medical theories are formed in this stage.
