Effect of rehabilitation with a combination of dynamic and static state on cardiac function and brain natriuretic peptide in rats with heart failure

Objective: To investigate the effect of rehabilitation with a combination of dynamic and static state on cardiac function and brain natriuretic peptide( BNP) in rats with heart failure induced by adriamycin. Methods: A total of 60 clean Sprague-Dawley rats( 30 male rats and 30 female rats) were randomly divided into blank group,model group,control group,and experimental group. In the model group,control group,and experimental group,intraperitoneal injection of adriamycin was applied to prepare the rat model of heart failure. After the successful establishment of the model,no cardiac rehabilitation was given to the rats in the model group,exhaustive exercise was given to those in the control group,and rehabilitation with a combination of dynamic and static state was given to those in the experimental group. Body weight and heart mass after the last exercise and cardiac structure and function and the content of BNP before and after exercise were compared between these groups. Results: Heart mass / body weight,ejection fraction( EF),fractional shortening( FS),and BNP showed significant differences between the model group and the blank group( P 0. 05); the control group showed significant changes in left ventricle( LV),intact ventricular septum( IVS),left ventricular papillary muscle( LVPM),EF,and FS after exercise( P 0. 05),but showed no significant difference in BNP after exercise compared with the model group( P 0. 05); the experimental group showed significant changes in LV,IVS,LVPM,EF,FS,and BNP after treatment,and compared with the control group and model group( P 0. 05),these parameters were significantly better in the experimental group( P 0. 05). Conclusion: Exercise can improve cardiac function and BNP in rats with heart failure,and rehabilitation with a combination of dynamic and static state has a better effect than exhaustive exercise.
