The Stress and Deformation of Simulation by FEM for the Excavation of Rock Slope

The excavation of the rock slope analysis was carried out by nonlinear FEM method in this paper. The rock slope was excavated with the reverse construction technique and retained wall with anchors. Processes were simulated with activating and killing elements provided by the FEM software of ANSYS. The FEM software of ANSYS gave the distribution curve of stress and deformation. Through this curve, the authors analyzed the stress and deformation for the condition of with and without supports. The results showed that the distribution curve of horizontal translocation became gentle in the top rock with anchors,the value of horizontal translocation reduced 15%.
