GEOCHEMICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF MESOZOIC INTRUSIVE ROCK IN SOUTH JIANGSU PROVINCE

This paper deals with geochemical characteristics of different genetic intrusive rock of Mesozoic in South Jiangsu province, which may be divided into Changjiang series, Jiangnan series and Suzhou pattern. 1 . Changjiang series: Its Sr, Ba, Cr, Ni, Co, V contents are the highest among the three types, ΣREE' contents are 96.6~235.65 ppm and LREE'/HREE' are 4.89~10.27, showing an obvious enrichment of LREE. The curves of chondrite-normalized REE patterns steeply incline to the right with Eu anomaly from positive to weak negative (δEu = 1.20~0.79), showing parent magma was generated from the upper mantle of different depth by partial melting of different degree, and was contaminated by some continental crust material on its way up. Magmatic evolution from basic to acidic in a complex intrusive body may be explained by the increase of degree of fractional crystallization. 2 . Jiangnan seriess Its Sr, Ba, Cr, Ni, Co, V contents are comparatively higher among the three types. 2REE' contents are 104.31~237 ppm and LREE'/HREE' are 2.01~4.63, showing an enrichment of LREE. The curves of chondrite-normalized REE patterns gently incline to the right with weak Eu negative anomaly (δEu =0.98-0.73), showing the parent magma was generated from the lower continental crust material by partial melting of different degree. 3 . Suzhou patterns Its Nb, Ta, Zr, Rb, F, Cl contents are the highest among the three types. ΣREE' contents are 276.87~374.62 ppm and LREE'/HREE' are 1.14~2.33. The curves of chondrite-normalized REE patterns show a symmetrical "v" shape with very remarkable negative Eu (δEu=0.24~0.14), showing the parent magma was generated from the lower continental crust by partial melting followed by relatively strong fractional crystallization.
