Exploration on Multimedia Item Bank Model for English Majors

In this paper, theoretical explorations on multimedia item bank model for English majors are conducted in terms of educational measurement theory. It has been put forward in the paper that the mathematical model of multimedia item bank for English Majors should be transferred from Classical Test Theory to Item Response Theory. Meanwhile, An adaptive item bank model should be developed and thus promotes the English language teaching.
