On the Relationship between Vocabulary Learning Strategies and Reading Comprehension——A Probe into the Vocabulary Learning Strategies and Reading Strategies Employed by English Majors

Reading is one of the most direct and efficient methods of obtaining information. To obtain information quickly and accurately, the reader first should remove the obstacles in the reading process. Three obstacles of reading are shown in this paper: 1) improper vocabulary learning strategies; 2) lack of discourse analysis skills; 3) improper reading habit. Therefore, the English teacher should give students more guidance on their English reading.
