Application of Airborne Laser Radar Technology to Power Transmission Line Design

By discussing the successful application of airborne 3D laser radar technology to Mashan~Leicun 220kV power transmission line,it elaborates the utilization of such technology on optimization of line route,obstacle avoidance,cut-off,optimization of pole arrangement and engineering quantity statistics,and demonstrates the success of applying such technology to power transmission line design for it can help optimize each technical and economic index of a project as compared with the advantages of conventional route selection technology,providing another option for investment saving.Furthermore,it overlooks the application of such technology to engineering and operation maintenance of power transmission line.
