Research on the Air-void System Test Method against Air-entrained Concrete

Traditional test method of air void system by ASTM C457 is too complicated,so three new excellent automatic test methods of air void system including AVA,Rapid Air and image analysis system are introduced and analyzed in detail in this paper.Their test results are consisted with the ASTM C457,and it is more convenient and accurate to test the air void system with the instruments of AVA,Rapid Air and by the image analysis system.These methods shall be made more widespread for the measurement of the air void system.
