Sensitivity Analysis on Impervious System of an Engineering Dam Foundation

For a hydropower station,dam,anti-seepage wall,cofferdam and workshop foundations are built above the overburden layer that has such problems as asymmetry subside and filter stabilization.By taking into full consideration of geologic conditions of the dam foundation,3-D finite element method is used to calculate characteristics of seepage field around dam foundation on the left bank after building the anti-seepage wall,and sensitivity analysis is also made on how the wall's permeability affects the whole seepage field through varying permeable coefficient of the wall.The calculation results indicate that,by taking into account of permeability of rock and soil around the wall and determining the wall's length and depth,reasonable permeability coefficient of the anti-seepage wall is crucial to set up an anti-seepage system safely and economically.
