Simulation and Modeling for Effectiveness Evaluation of Infrared Jammer

Infrared Jammer is an effective countermeasure tool against infrared guided missile.How to evaluate the effectiveness of infrared jammer is a key problem in the field of infrared countermeasures.In this article,taking the “Stinger” as an example,the missile operation principle is discussed.The simulation method is proposed to evaluate the effectiveness of infrared jammer.The mathematical models of seeker and missile tracking loop are given.The practical method for calculation of miss distance and simulation results are also proposed.
