Research on CO 2 Adsorption and Activation

Wang Jianwei \ Zhong Shunhe (Department of Chemical Engineering, Tianjin University, Tianjin 300072, China)  
The mechanism of CO 2 adsorption and activation on metal catalyst and metal oxide catalyst and reaction performance of various adsorption states have been discussed. An effective way of using CO 2 as a kind of mild oxidant in chemical processes has been presented.
