RADIATE TECHNIQUE ON YD-Ⅰ PHOTO-ELECTRO-CONTROLLABLE POSITIONER FOR INTRAOCULAR FOREIGN BODY

We developed a YD-Ⅰ photo-electro-controllable positioner for intraocular foreignbody, which is used to regulate the hea1thyeye through a photo-electro control systemand have the injured eye radiated at themid position. We can reveal the cornea,orbit, foreign body and positioner imageson the lateral position with a polyvinylchloride shield before the injured eye, orplace the positioner in front of the eye butin no contact with the cornea, keeping aproper relation with the eyeball throughthe photo-electro control system. While taking radiography, the patientshould take the supine position. Anterio-posterior position: Place the probe in frontof the healthy eye, take 20 mm distance tothe top point of the cornea, switch on thelight source, advise the patient to gaze thesymbol in the probe so as to regulate theinjured eye to the mid position; then, placethe positioner in front of the injured eye,take 10 mm distance to the top point of thecornea, enable the central beam of X-rayto pass through the positioner and the pupiland radiate on the film vertically. Lateralpositon: Keep the original position, regulatethe X-ray tube at the level position, placethe lateral film box shelf at the outer sideof the injured eye, enable the central beamof X-ray to pass through the front of theinjured eye to the film. Using this X-ray positioner, we exam-ined 175 patients suffering from the intra-ocular foreign body, and the accuracy was98. 29%. Therefore, it is of great practical use.
