Application of Chemical Herbicide to Forest Fire Lane in Jiangxi Province

The study used 2 kinds of chemical herbicide: 48% Garlon EC and 41% isopropyamine salt of glyphosate AS. The effects of pesticides with different concentration to control brushes and weeds on the forest fire lanes were tested. The results showed that the pesticide with 48% Garlon EC at 33 333 g/hm~2 +10 000 g/hm~241% isopropyamine salt of glyphosate AS was the most effective, and its average control effect reached 79.803%.While that with 48% Garlon EC at 1 667 g/hm~2+10 000 g/hm~2 41% isopropyamine salt of glyphosat AS ranked the second, with an average effect of 75.474%.
