The Application of RFM in Computing the Height of Building on the Mono-satellite Image

As an important attribute information of manpower building,the height information has a great value in use.In the paper,a formula of the building height's measurement is deduced by using the satellite CCD images' imaging equation,and a conclusion that the precise building height can be computed without the DEM by using image point coordinates and elements of exterior orientation is drawn.The results of the experiment prove the above hypothesis.The research of this paper not only broadens the field of application,but also enriches the theories and methods of building height's measurement by using the Mono-satellite image.
