Immunohistochemical Study of Dendritic Cells in Regional Lymph Nodes of Human Malignant Tumors

Bao Leri, Zhang Min (Department of Pathology)
We have done immunohistochcmical study of dendritic cells in regional lymph nodes of human malignant tumors, using S-100 protein as a marker. According to the quantity of S-100 protein possitive cells, 31 cases investigated were divided into: increased(7 cases), normal(7 cases), and decreased (20 cases) subgroups. The statistical analysis showed that the average of increased group(164.4/mm~2)was significantly higher than control group(58.3/mm~2), decreased group(16.5/mm~2) significantly lower, the normal group(69.8/mm~2)had no significant change.
