Percutaneous balloon pulmonary valvuloplasty (PBPV)is a new and most advanced technigue in the world to treat pulmonary valve stenosis. This nonsurgical method appears to be less traumatic, more effective and with no severe complications. Most patients are willing to accept it.In this report we describe the first successful application of polyethlene Bifoil-balloon cathter in our country to relieve congenital pulmonary valve stenosis in 3 patients. We also gave hemodynamic measurements and right ventriculography before and immediately after the procedure. The results were very satisfactory.
