Clinical study of endoscopy in colorectal polyps

Objective To analyze endoscopic histological characters of colorectal polyps with confocal laser endomicroscopy(CLE) examination and to explore value of polyp resection in adenomatous polyps.Methods From June 2007 to June 2010,120 patients were recruited,which pathologically confirmed colorectal polyps,60 for experiment group and 60 for control group.The patients in experiment group underwent polyp resection.At the same time,value of polyp resection was evaluated.Results In the follow two years,in the experiment group,there was no colorectal cancer.While in the control group,there were 26 colorectal cancer,and the positive rate was 43.3%.Conclusion The accuracy of CLE in adenomatous polyps is high,and the coherence with histopathology diagnosis is good.Polyp resection can prevent colorectal cancer.
