Objective To investigate the expression, relationship and tumor biology characters between Ezrin,c-Met and CD44v6 in gastric cancer. Methods The expression of Ezrin,c-Met and CD44v6 of gastric cancer samples from 130 patients was analyzed by immunohistochemistry. Results Ezrin was expressed in 61.0% of 130 gastric cancer samples.High levels expression of c-Met and CD44v6 were found in 58.0% and 53.0% of tumors samples respectively.Ezrin expression exhibited a positive correlation with c-Met and CD44v6 expression, and CD44v6 expression was positively correlated with the expression of c-Met(P0.05).Positive expression of Ezrin and CD44v6 were significantly associated with tumor stage, lymph node metastasis and TNM stage(P0.05).C-Met expression was correlated with invasion depth, lymph node metastasis and TNM stage. Conclusion Ezrin、c-Met and CD44v6 are tumor metastasis-associated markers that have synergistic effect in gastric cancer infiltration and metastasis.Combined analysis of these molecules may offer new useful information on invasion, metastasis, speculated prognosis and therapy.
