A New Control of DC Link Voltage for Active Power Filter

Traditional PI control strategy for DC link voltage of active power filter is difficult to determine parameters,so a parameter self-setting fuzzy PI controller was proposed.Analyzing the principle of APF revealed that the compensation ability to harmonic current is closely related to the dc link voltage.In the fuzzy control rules,the deviation and its changing rate of actual current from given current are input variables and the PI parameters can be self-adjusting.MATLAB simulation results show that,the fuzzy PI control strategy for dc link voltage,the dc side voltage is more stable,APF filtering effect is better.
