Among 122 patients undergoing hepatectomy ,98 cases were performed Vascular exclusion maneuver for 4~45 min within the operation. Acute gastrointestinal mucosa lesion (AGML) was occurred in 56 cases (57. 1%). Of the remaining 24 cases not conducted vascular exclusion maneuver (12. 5%) within the operation,3 occurred AGML(12. 5%). There was a significant difference in morhidity (P0. 01). It was suggested that hepatectomy with vascular exclusion maneuver was complicated with AGML and the morhidity was positivele related with the hepatic vascular exclusive time,on relationship with the modes of pepatic vas-cuiar exclusion maneuver, (PTC or THVE).
