The Effect of Restoring Microcirculation of the Pancreas to Prevent Following Acute Pancreatitis:A Report of 53 Cases of Acute Necrotizing Pancreatitis.

By eliminating the edema of the affected pancreas,relaxing spasm of the arteriols,decreasing viscocity of the patients' blood and disolving the microthrombi in the capillaries and venuls of the affected pancreas to improve the microcirculation,53 cases of acute necrotizing pancreatitis were treated with this protocol of medicines. Of 53 patients,51 were cured with the cure-rate being 96% and 2 died of multiorgan deficiency syndrom after severe infection with the motality being 4%.Satisfactory results were obtained.
