Performance of LiOH combined with activated carbon fiber

The influence of ventilation condition and the stage number of multistage absorption on absorptive capability of a new composite material for cleaning carbon dioxide was researched.The composite material was prepared lithium hydroxide coated on activated carbon fiber as absorbent.The result shows that the absorption rate has an evident increase with the rise of air temperature or the fall of air speed and no relevance with air relative humidity.There is only 1.8% maximal difference on absorption rate in the process among 3,6,10 stages absorption.The composite material has a stable performance for cleaning carbon dioxide,and can adapt well to a closed space with high humidity such as submarine or underground engineering.
