Vegetation camouflage assessment based on analysis of characteristics of vegetative landscape

By adopting the analyses of heterogeneousness of landscape with the porosity method and the characteristics of landscape with the statistical fractal method,the assessment of the revegetation-based camouflage engineering was carried out,the analysis model built,and the concerned program designed with MATLAB.This model is used to assess some revegetation camouflage engineering.The results indicate that the self-similarity between camouflage scene and vegetative landscape relates to the trend in changing of porosity.There is gradual change in the porosity curve with the increscent of the box length,and the self-similarity is strong.Conversely,the self-similarity is feeble.The fractal dimension of landscape component reflects the space characteristics of landscape.The fitting curve of the fractal dimension under different scales accords with the linear equation,which shows that landscape component has the self-similarity in space.
