Study on the Hometropic Alignment of Nematic Liquid Crystal with Pretilt Angle

This paper describes the principle and method to obtain hometropic alignment of nematic liquid crystal by using JALS-204. The effect of process factors such as spining, heat treatment and rubbing strength on the electro-optic performance of liquid crystal device are discussed.
