Improvement of Revolving Flow CO_2 Laser Cavity Gain Distribution

The commercial available industrial CO2 lasers are three types: transverse flow,fast Axial flow and diffusively cooled.In this paper,a new type of revolving flow CO2 laser was introduced.The research is focused on the improvement of the cavity gain distribution by developing new cavity and electrode structures.A new prototype rotational CO2 laser was developed based on this research.The laser emits TEM00 mode laser beam at 700W,and precision laser cutting experiment was conducted by this laser.
