Affect of the Wear Morphology of Diamond Grit upon the Cutting Performance of Diamond Saw Blade
Song Yueqing et al
According to the results of stone-cutting and the observation of the wear surface, the relation among the wear morphology of the diamond grit, the wear resistance of the matrix and the cutting performance had been established. It was found that the wear-out or polisheddiamond grit leads to low cutting effeciency, and the new protruded and micro-broken diamondgrit are favorable for tool cutting performance.
