Research on the Effect of South Africa Anti-dumping Trade towards China

The gross amount of South Africa anti-dumping towards China showed descending trend from 1995 to 2016,and involved products included 9 categories. The arbitration still adopted the third country price, the response to suits of Chinese enterprises permitted by South Africa was shorter; according to the anti-dumping data information from 2005 to 2016, this paper concludes that the anti-dumping investigation have following characteristics: products with high export rebates rate has higher probability in anti-dumping investigation, the investigation strength and amount have positive correlation, and the case amounts for the products with strong trade complementarity between the two countries are less. By virtue of the anti-dumping case of stainless tank, this paper studies the impact of three trade effects(trade limitation effect, trade transfer effect and trade deflection effect) on subject matters products export, and puts forward strategy from the three aspects of enterprise, government and industrial association based on the above analysis.
