STUDY ON THE LAND CARRYING CAPACITY OF RESOURCE-SAVING AND ENVIRONMENT-FRIENDLY DEVELOPMENT EXPERIMENTAL AREA IN CHANGZHUTAN MEGALOPOLIS

Conflicts among population,resources and ecological environment become more and more severe with the increasing of population and with the development of social economy,and the problems resulted from lack of resources and depravation of eco-system environment have been drawing close attention all over the world.Using land carrying capacity theory to study the interrelationship among region resource,ecological environment, increasing of population and social economy is the most commonly adopted method in geographical,ecological and economic research nowadays.Based on the existed study on land carrying capacity,the conception land carrying capacity was put forward and a set of comprehensive evaluation indices which suits for Chang-Zhu-Tan megalopolis was constructed.The primary evaluation of land carrying capacity in CHANGZHUTAN megalo-polis was carried out by dint of the state space.The author put forwards some measures to improve the regional land carrying capacity.
